Exit condition report
The Exit condition report (Form 14a or Form 14b for moveable dwellings) is completed on handover day when the tenant is ready to move out. It shows the condition of the property when the tenant leaves. There is no Exit condition report form for rooming accommodation.
The Exit condition report should be filled out by the tenants and 2 copies given to the lessor/agent. It will then be compared against the Entry condition report (Form 1a) or Form R1 for rooming accommodation to determine if the property is in the same condition as when the tenant moved in, apart from fair wear and tear.
The lessor/agent then inspects the property and refers to the entry and exit condition reports, makes their own notes on the report and sends a completed copy to the tenant at their new address within 3 days.
