A resident can transfer a bond from one rooming accommodation agreement to another, including from one room number, or unit to another within the same premises. 

The RTA holds the bond money instead of paying it back at the end of the original tenancy.

• All parties must sign the form, and it can be posted to the RTA by either party.
• Upon receipt of the form at the RTA, bond monies are transferred to a new bond account for the new agreement.
