Agents and property managers information
An agent means a person employed, or otherwise authorised, by the lessor to act as their agent.
Property managers are lessors, agents and onsite managers responsible for managing the property during the tenancy.
The RTA publication Managing general tenancies in Queensland contains information for managers of general tenancies and helps them understand their rights and responsibilities when managing rental accommodation, such as houses and units, in Queensland.
Agents and property managers must be familiar with all relevant legislation.
