About the documents required
Documents at the start of an agreement
Residents should receive the following documents either before or in the first week of their stay at a new place:- a copy of the signed rooming accommodation agreement - form R18 (PDF 152kB)
- a copy of the house rules or they may have been displayed on the wall in the common areas
- a receipt for the rent that has been paid
- a receipt for the bond (if the resident has paid one)
- a copy of the condition report - form R1 (PDF 52kB) if the resident has paid a bond.
Remember: Keep these documents in a safe place.
