Applying for dispute resolution

If attempts at self-resolution have been unsuccessful, and the dispute is not classified as an urgent application to the tribunal, it is possible make an application to the RTA's Dispute Resolution Service.

To apply for dispute resolution, fill out a dispute resolution request - form 16 (PDF 36kB). Attach all relevant documentation and a brief outline of the issue and fax, post or deliver it to the Residential Tenancies Authority.

A representative from the RTA will make contact to make further arrangements.
