Interpreter services

If you have difficulty understanding English, contact the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 131 450 during RTA hours of business. TIS will telephone the RTA for you at no cost.

Hearing impaired clients

Hearing impaired clients can contact the National Relay Service on 133 677 for assistance with contacting the RTA by phone.

Online enquiries

For enquiries about your rental bond or about the laws covering residential renting in Queensland you may use our enquiries form to submit your enquiry via email to the RTA.
In most cases email enquiries will be answered by the RTA within two (2) business days of the enquiry being received by the RTA.
If you require an immediate response to your enquiry you will need to contact the RTA by phone. Refer to the top of this page for contact details.

Note:

If you have lodged a Dispute Resolution Resolution Request (Form 16) with the RTA or have sent paperwork to the RTA regarding an alleged offence under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 and you have an enquiry about your file you must contact the RTA by phone.
