What happens with international refunds?

The RTA can offer students international refunds if the necessary information (such as bank, currency and account details) are provided as part of the request for a refund. There may be a fee charged by banks to provide this service which could be passed on to the student if they wish to access funds in this way. There are no charges for refunds in Australian currency, such as by cash, cheque or direct deposit into an Australian bank account.
