Who can assist residents to understand the rooming accommodation agreement?

The RTA provides a standard rooming accommodation agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of the agreement. The service provider should explain the documents they give to the resident and make sure the resident understands what their obligations are. If a resident feels more comfortable speaking with someone other than the service provider, they can speak to a support worker or a worker from their local Tenancy Advice and Advocacy Service - TAAS(Q).
