Important update regarding regions for median weekly rents.
Median weekly rents data is based on an analysis of new rental bonds lodged in each quarter. It will be updated for the March, June, September and December quarters.
Median rents are calculated for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom flats or units, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and 2 & 3 bedroom townhouses for some areas.
Median weekly rents have been calculated for major centres throughout the State and, at the postcode level, for: -
- Brisbane City
- Brisbane Statistical Division (for local Govt areas other than Brisbane City)
- Gold Coast and Scenic Rim
- Sunshine Coast (Caloundra, Maroochy and Noosa)
- Northern Queensland (Cairns, Thuringowa & Townsville, Whitsunday, Rockhampton & Mackay).
