Resolving disputes

Disputes can occur between parties involved in rental accommodation, expecially if one the parties does not meet the terms of the tenancy agreement.

These disputes can often be resolved by communicating with the other party, finding out about their rights and responsibilities and following the processes set out in the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.

The RTA encourages parties to manage and resolve their own disputes however help is available if required.
