Have your say on RTA's web services for bond refunds and disputes

Following the successful launch of the RTA’s Bond Lodgement web service earlier this year, the RTA is currently developing online services for bond refunds, bond disputes and updating customer details, aimed at making the end-of-tenancy process easier for all parties.

If you are a tenant, self-managing lessor or property agent, we want you to have your say on the Bond Refund and Bond Dispute web services.

Approximately two-thirds of bond refund requests the RTA receives are signed and agreed to by all parties.  A key feature of the Bond Refund web service is creating a convenient, fast-tracked channel for these agreed bond refunds; this minimises paperwork and delays for everyone involved.

Where parties do not agree on how a refund should be paid out, the RTA’s Bond Dispute web service will make accessing the dispute process easier for all parties.

For a sneak peek at the prototypes for refunds and bond disputes, and to have your say, register now via Eventbrite for one of the focus groups below. Light refreshments will be provided and each participant will receive a $20 voucher.
