The Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Act) and the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Regulation 2009 (Regulation) are the primary source of law relating to residential tenancies and services in Queensland. If there is an inconsistency between eServices information and the Act and Regulation, the Act and the Regulation prevail. However, the Act and Regulation may not be the only relevant law for matters arising out of, or connected with, residential tenancies in Queensland.
