The Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) has published updated forms for general tenancies and rooming accommodation.
This follows the commencement of the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Regulation 2025 (the Regulation), which applies from 1 September 2025.
The updated Regulation does not introduce any new obligations or major changes. Instead it:
- clarifies existing requirements
- makes minor administrative updates
- simplifies forms and wording to make them easier to use.
Read our previous news article to learn more about the changes, including the provisions that apply to support the sector’s transition to the new Regulation.
