Information sessions about rental law changes
Discover what Queensland’s rental law changes mean for you
This year the RTA has been hitting the road bringing free, in-person information sessions to communities across Queensland to unpack the latest rental law changes.
With successful sessions already delivered in Mackay, Proserpine, Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane areas, Townsville, Charters Towers, Longreach and Emerald and Cairns and Atherton, as well as Bundaberg and Hervey Bay.
RTA in the community
Experienced staff from the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) will be visiting community locations across Queensland. So far in 2025 we have visited libraries in Beaudesert, Nambour, Gatton and Caboolture, and further locations are coming soon. Join us to learn about rental law changes and ask questions about renting.
RTA information sessions
In 2024, the RTA delivered free in-person information sessions in Bundaberg, Warwick, Toowoomba, Cairns and Atherton and online sessions for the greater South West region.
The RTA also delivered free information sessions about the new rental law changes in Brisbane, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Gympie.
