Continuing professional development (CPD) for Queensland property professionals has been mandatory since 6 June 2025.

Under the new rules, 2 approved CPD sessions must be completed each year by the following property professionals to keep their licence or registration:

• real estate agents
• real estate salespeople (including property managers)
• real estate property auctioneers
• resident letting agents.

The RTA plans to deliver CPD and will provide more information on our sessions once they are finalised, including details on how to register your attendance.
