Each quarter, the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) publishes key statistics about the services we deliver to make renting work for everyone. It’s part of our commitment to expanding data releases to better inform the rental sector on current needs, emerging issues, service delivery and trends.
We publish data that breaks down our core service offerings, including:

- compliance and enforcement
- dispute resolution.
This data is updated for the March, June, September and December quarters.

Tips for using this data
- Year on year data provides a more accurate basis for comparison than quarter on quarter data. If year on year data isn’t supplied, you can find information on the previous financial year in the relevant annual report.
- It’s normal for the RTA’s data to fluctuate from quarter to quarter. Fluctuations can be caused by sector and seasonal trends, legislative changes, public holidays, weather patterns and more.
