As part of our ongoing commitment to connect and engage with communities across Queensland, we have a strong focus on delivering digital and in-person education and events across the state.
This includes free community information sessions for tenants and property managers/owners, and Type 2 continuing professional development (CPD) training for property managers and agents.

Continuing professional development (CPD) training sessions
The RTA is an approved provider of Type 2 CPD training sessions that property managers and agents can attend to meet their mandatory CPD requirements.
These sessions are delivered online and in-person on dates available throughout the year. Learn more about our approved CPD training sessions and learning outcomes.

In 2026, we have hosted sessions in Toowoomba and Maroochydore, with more community information sessions to come. Details and registrations will open closer to the event date.
RTA Community information sessions
RTA community information sessions are designed for all Queenslanders and delivered online and in-person. They explore key tenancy and bond topics and provide practical information for starting, during and ending a tenancy. Hosted by our experienced subject matter experts in tenancy law and dispute resolution, participants will have the opportunity to have their questions answered and refresh their knowledge about their tenancy rights and responsibilities
RTA in the community
Experienced staff from the RTA regularly visit community locations across Queensland.
In 2025, we visited local events such as the Ekka, and libraries in Beaudesert, Southport, Nambour, Gatton, Cleveland and Caboolture.

Our shopping centre pop-ups provide you with the opportunity to speak to us in-person and ask your renting questions – whether you are a tenant, prospective tenant, property owner or manager, or have a friend or family member who is renting! This year we've visited Ipswich, Southport, Maroochydore, Coorparoo, Upper Mount Gravatt and Keperra.
