Discover what Queensland’s rental law changes mean for you

This year the RTA has been hitting the road bringing free, in-person information sessions to communities across Queensland to unpack the latest rental law changes.

With successful sessions already delivered in Mackay, Proserpine, Gold Coast, Greater Brisbane areas, Townsville, Charters Towers, Longreach and Emerald, we now have Cairns and Atherton in our sights.

Whether you’re a property manager, owner or tenant, these sessions will give you the chance to:

  • learn about the latest rental law changes including the new 1 September 2025 regulations updates
  • explore how the changes shape your rights and responsibilities
  • unpack the key reforms that started on 1 May 2025
  • ask our expert team questions
  • leave with practical information and helpful links to resources

Seats are limited and registration is essential.

Click on the green session times below to reserve your spot.

Please note: All sessions cover the same content, so there’s no need to register for more than one.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Tip: Eventbrite registration has 3 steps – make sure you complete them all to secure your seat.

Photographs will be taken at this event for RTA purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify staff at the event.
