Online Bond Search

RTA Web Services will be unavailable from 8:00am Saturday 19 July to 5:00pm Sunday 20 July 2025 for planned maintenance.
During this time, all RTA Web Services will be offline and unavailable to customers. This means customers will not be able to temporarily complete bond and tenancy transactions online or respond to any bond refund fast track emails. If a customer’s 48-hour fast track email response period expires during this planned outage timeframe, it will proceed to the Notice of claim (NOC) process where customers will have another opportunity to agree or disagree with the refund request made.

You can use the Bond Search Web Service to view, search and download bond lists.

This Web Service can only be used by joint lessors, agents, student accommodation providers and other property managers acting on behalf of an organisation.

If you are a private landlord or a tenant needing to access your bond details, refer to your Acknowledgement of rental bond sent to you at the commencement of your tenancy. Please contact the RTA if you require additional assistance.

Before you begin, you will need:

  • your Queensland Digital Identity (QDI) login details (follow the prompts to create a QDI when logging into RTA Web Services)
  • your organisation/joint lessor partnership’s RTA ID number
  • a bond number for a current tenancy you manage
  • access to your organisation/joint lessor partnership’s registered email address (as the RTA will send you an automated verification code at the appropriate step of completing this form)

Note: If you can't verify your identity online through QDI, please visit the Queensland Government QDI website or phone 1800 000 658 for information about other verification options and QDI support.

The QGov ID platform was replaced by Queensland Digital Identity (QDI) on 6 April 2025. The video above was recorded before the change and includes references to QGov ID.
