Important: Reasons and timeframes for ending a tenancy during the COVID-19 emergency period changed from 30 September 2020. This page reflects these changes.
The Notice of lessor's intention to sell premises is given to the tenant to advise them of the intended sale of the property.
It must be given to the tenant before, or when, an Entry notice (Form 9) is given to show prospective purchasers the property. A selling agent must also give a copy of this form to the property manager/owner before entry can occur.
The selling agent must provide an Entry notice to the tenant and property manager/owner every time they plan to enter.
Note: Virtual inspections can still be carried out. Any inspections or entry that occur must comply with health directives and government restrictions during the COVID-19 emergency period.
